The Black Saga Competition is an exciting way for older elementary and middle school students in the Maryland region to learn about the journey of the African American experience. CMC designed and developed the Black Saga Competition web site, administrative tools and database (PHP/SQL). The organization can now offer all of their content and forms online, manage their e-mail announcements and run reports to view the data involved with organizing the competition for over 150 schools.
The Center for Clinical Global Health Education at the Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions uses distance education technologies to provide courses on the management and care of patients with HIV/AIDS. The audience consists of clinicians in targeted regions of India and Africa. CMC developed disease management and lab technician courses for the center, assisted with the initial implementation of their content management and the implementation of Moodle, an open source Learning Management System.
Global Homestead is a nonprofit organization located in a rural region of Maryland. They engage their community through projects that involve the arts, the natural environment, and innovative education. CMC built and maintains their web presence.
